Guest reporting (eTurizem)
Report every guest via AJPES eTurizem; the system forwards the data to the Police, SURS, and your municipality. Airbnb and Booking do not report for you. The departure is part of that same report: if it isn't known when the guest arrives, or it later changes, you have 12 hours from the actual departure to send it.
Tourist and promotional tax
You collect the tax on the municipality's behalf and remit it to its account. The promotional tax adds 25% on top of the tourist tax.

Does Vidimo report for me?
Yes. Once you connect your AJPES account in Vidimo, it sends each guest's arrival and departure to eTurizem from your account, inside the 12-hour window, and shows you AJPES's answer for every guest. Stays that arrived before the day you connected stay with you, so nobody is reported twice.
Do I have to report guests from Airbnb and Booking too?
Yes. The legal duty to report always sits with you as the host; Airbnb and Booking do not file for you. Vidimo files the guests of every booking in Vidimo. Airbnb and Booking.com sync is on the way, so a guest whose booking is not in Vidimo is yours to file.
What happens if I miss the 12-hour window?
For late or missed guest reports, ZPPreb-1 art. 46 prescribes fines by legal form and by which failure it was: a private renter faces EUR 400 to 1,200 late and EUR 500 to 1,500 for not reporting; a legal person or sole trader EUR 1,000 to 2,000 late and EUR 1,500 to 4,000 for not reporting. Enforcement runs through the Police and municipal inspectors. Vidimo flags deadlines and keeps a trail of every report so it doesn't come to that; check the exact amounts in the cited sources.
Where are my data and my guests' data stored?
We process your data and your guests' data under the GDPR. Vidimo's database and file storage are in the European Union. Some providers process data outside the EU, mainly for messaging, payments, push notifications and AI features; our subprocessor list names each one and where it processes data. Vidimo is the processor of your data and keeps it only as long as the law and the reporting purpose require.

The tourist-tax amount is set by each municipality's ordinance and varies between them. Once your AJPES account is connected, Vidimo works out what each stay owes at your municipality's rate, so the figures are there stay by stay when you remit by the 25th. Remitting the tax stays with you.
Do I need an RNO entry and a digital certificate?
Yes. Reporting to eTurizem requires your accommodation's entry in the Register of Accommodation Establishments (RNO), an AJPES account, and a qualified digital certificate. You enter all three once in Vidimo, which walks you through each step.
